On a mission to stop high fees from draining your retirement
I’m Eryn Schultz. If you read my story in The New York Times, you know I believe every worker deserves a retirement plan that helps them retire with dignity.
My Story
In 2019, I joined a class-action lawsuit against my former employer, H-E-B, over high 401k plan fees that were nearly three times the average. That experience showed me how much hidden fees can cost everyday workers — and how slow the system is to protect them. That’s why I started my firm.
What I learned:
Fees Matter: Even a 0.5% difference can cost over $111,000 in retirement savings.
The System Is Slow: My lawsuit has been waiting on a ruling for over six years.
